Important Information Regarding Marine Fares

Marine fares are available only to active crewmembers either working onboard a commercial vessel scheduled for leave, or in the process of joining a ship for employment purposes.

At boarding, the Airline will request one of the following documents to verify employment:

• Valid current Seaman’s book
• Original and Current Letter of Employment from:
  • A Cruise Line
  • A Cruise Line Concessionnaire (Salon, Spa, Casino, Entertainment, etc...)
  • An authorized Crewing Agency
• Engineers and/or contractors traveling to carry out work on a vessel in dock who will be added to ship’s manifest.

Any person not able to produce these documents upon demand by the airline will be denied boarding, and will be required to purchase a replacement ticket at whatever applicable fare exists at that time.

In addition to the above proof of employment, crewmembers may require visas and/or other state issued documentation as well as valid passport to travel internationally. Europe USA does not accept responsibility for a crewmember not in possession of the proper documentation to board any flight.
